How to Calculate the Diameter (width) of Your Gate or Fence Post

When installing a fence post or gate post, there are some simple calculations you need to know in order to make sure you have an adequate amount of concrete in the hole to support your gate post or fence post. In the video below, we go through how to calculate the proper diameter (or width) of your post hole so you can plan accordingly and make sure your post hole is dug wide enough.
