While you normally see iron fence installed over grass or earth with the posts concreted 2-3 feet deep, there are situations where you may want to mount the fence on top of a solid surface. That could be a patio, pool deck, wall top or curbing. When that is the case, you’ll want to check out our surface mounted flange posts that allow you to bolt or anchor the iron fence posts down rather than bury them in concrete.
